Kathy's First Race

Kathy ran (jogged) the Get in Gear 10K on Saturday morning. Three cheer’s for her. Extra points for her for running nice and slow so that her half-sister’s-half-brother could finish strong.

Next time she runs it at her pace.

Here are some pic’s from that beautiful day.

What A Weekend

What a great weekend for the family FPA. Saturday, we went to the Afton apple orchard for our annual “apple-fest”. The hay ride, apple picking and corn-maze made for a busy and beautiful morning.

Sunday was cloudy and wet. But the family FPA came out to cheer the cross racers on. All wearing their team sweatshirts. After the race, it was dinner with JBT, Jon and Jane. JBT cooked, Jon played a little piano concert, while I did the dishes.

A great weekend indeed.

Garden Day at the Casa del FPA

Everyone was involved with the fall lawn clean up projects. Plants re-located, gardens seeded over, foliage cut way back. Lots of help from my folks. Double extra help from Clay and Joanna.
